Who are we?
MiraDoor is the initiative of the Mira intercultural community and Open Doors Hungary. It is an intercultural community space, an opportunity to learn, a meeting point. Here you can learn about different cultures, you can meet foreigners living in Hungary, you can get into dialogue by practising languages too. MiraDoor gives place to the programs organised for the Mira community (yoga, English, Hungarian classes, programming classes, and many others). Beside this, we organise regularly open events: movie club, intercultural events, cooking programs; for these we are happy to host our neighbours.
The products made during our creative workshops (Afghan kites, printed bags, etc.) are also exhibited here and you can acquire them for donation.

Are they going to be other workshops too in the future?
Of course. In MiraDoor we are going to organise and provide workshops on a regular basis to our neighbours. We are planning programs for kids and creative workshops for locals in the district once in a month from October.

What have we done so far in MiraDoor?
We opened in May. Soon after we organised activities on the International Children Day as well as on the International Day of Refugees.

Who is supporting this festival?
The realisation of the festival is supported by SCI (Service Civil International). Taking part in workshops are free. If you are supporting us with a donation, we are turning it to sustain the place and to organise more programs for you.
