The Diwali festival held on October 30 in Miradoor was an excellent opportunity to know more in detail about one of the most joyful days of the year. Many people decided to come to our space who came and brought their light to the magical celebration.

MiraDoor was decorated for the occasion. There were some colorful paintings on the floor as well as little candles, as the tradition says.

The event began with an explanation about the origin, history, as well as the meaning of this celebration. Diwali is one of the most famous festivals which is celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains for a variety of reasons, although the central theme is the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. The festival is celebrated in autumn, and it lasts for five days.

Later, there were offerings, and together we sang typical songs. The attendants were able to taste the tasty Indian homemade food, as well as traditional sweets offered these days.

Last but not least, we enjoyed dancing and listening to Indian music.

Even We love Budapest talked about us and our Diwali festival!
